In solar power generation systems, power semiconductor devices can be regarded as the core. Taking photovoltaic inverters as an example, insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) play a key role. The direct current generated by solar panels needs to be converted into alternating current through inverters to be connected to the power grid. IGBTs can efficiently control the direction and magnitude of current and realize the conversion from direct current to alternating current. Its conversion efficiency directly affects the overall efficiency of solar power generation systems. At the same time, diodes are used to prevent current reversal and protect solar panels and other equipment from reverse current damage to ensure the stable operation of the system.
